- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each return and circumstance is different. Everything from how fast someone needs something turned around, to extensive manual input that a set price does not normally work. I have always been fair and worked with my clients. If you ask my current clients they will tell you they can not get the level of service and product for my price anywhere. However I have base rates for certain typical tax situations. I also have discounts for students and seniors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a tax organizer that I like new clients to fill out to the best of their knowledge. If they have any prior years tax returns they can bring with them that helps as well. Otherwise I walk them through most everything one step at a time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years experience working in a large global accounting firm and a Master of Science in Taxation degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
