About

A grooming appointment with me is a little different than the most shops. Instead of being dropped off in the mornig , waiting in a cage for their turn, and picked up after a long day, they are done in about an hour I do them straight through. While you wait. You are welcome to watch, the whole thing takes about an hour.I find this is much less stressful, especially for nervous dogs and cats. Working with animals that have grooming or trust issues and helping them to actually enjoy being groomed is my favorite thing to do. I love making them feel better. Grooming is important to their good health, and shouldnt be an awful experience.

Terry was amazing with my elderly Basset Hound . . He still has spunk but is getting fragile in his old age of 15 this year. Terry was so good to him, he loved her and we will be having her back regularly to care for our baby.

I knew I would love Terry before I even met her, and I was so right! She truly understands cats and their needs and did such a beautiful job for my fluffy, matted kitty. His haunches were covered in horrible mats and I knew he wouldn't enjoy the process of having them shaved off, but Terry approached the job with so much patience and skill that it was over before we both knew it! Terry educated me and left me with some tips and tricks to use for grooming him in the future as he ages. I couldn't have asked for better. I will absolutely choose Terry first the next time I need cat grooming services.

Sammy does not like to be brushed, so once in a while the fur has to come off. Needless to say that grooming is not his favorite past time. Terry was very good calming him down. She also shared tips to get him to eat more (he is old and skinny) and send some food home for us to try. Great deal for money.

Terry was so sweet and funny! She treated my cat with kindness and respect. I loved that I got to watch and chat with her while she did all the grooming. She also cleaned my cat's ears and trimmed her nails, and lastly doused her with a delicious smelling fur product! I'll definitely be going back 💜

Prices range from $5 for just a nail trim to $75 for large agressive dogs. The average cost is $30.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed with master groomers, show groomers, and veterinarians almost 30 years ago. I have spent my whole life working in rescue and am a former California State Humane Task Force officer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love animals, I always have. I am one of those lucky people who get to love what they do for a living. I still learn new things and enjoy my job
