FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is a flat $100 an hour, a $100 fee for post wedding editing and a $25 travel fee. If the wedding is over $50 miles, a additional $25 fee would apply. So, for a 5 hours wedding, I would charge $600. So, as to break it down: $100 per hour $100 post editing $25 travel fee $25 additional travel fee / if over 50 miles When I am done editing the pictures, I will provide 3 flash drives of the entirety of the wedding day, from beginning to end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I speak with the couple by phone. If we both feel there is a fit, then we can agree to meet or book it. As we approach the day, I stay in contact to adjust for changes. On the wedding day, I am in constant communication with the bride and groom, making sure I am capturing what is important to them and I part only when I feel they are satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent six years working with a high end photographer named Teri Lowery with Flashes Photography. Teri won several awards and was interviewed on Life Time TV. I trained with her for six months before I shot my own wedding and I worked closely with her throughout the time I was with Flashes. I was involved throughout the process, from meeting for the first time, to shooting the wedding day.
