JLB Construction first came to our attention after he did a room addition for a friend. The work was really impressive and they were very complimentary of his work.
About a year later we needed work done and we called John. Since we are only down at the lake on the weekends he came to talk to us on a Saturday. We talked about what we wanted, he gave us recommendations, and ideas. He was very prompt with getting us the quote and very competitive.
We have had him back 4 times since that first job, he and his crew have always been very professional. The jobs he has done for us have been done with the highest quality work and in a timely manner. And the when the jobs are complete there is no mess, they always leave our home very neat and tidy.
And one of the most important things is we are very rarely there when he is working and we have never been uncomfotable with him in our home.
Long story short, we would recommend JLB Construction to everyone!

While consulting John about possible repairs to our old deck he pointed out how deteriorated the 38 yr. old supports had become and had he not done that we could have had a real disaster on our hands. We decided to employ John to tear down the old and build a new and improved deck and decided on using composite materials to cut down on maintenance. During the tear down we discovered just how correct he was in his initial assessment of the old deck's condition. After much assistance and planning on his part regarding wise use of funds on building materials we wound up with a beautiful and somewhat expanded new deck that we are very proud of. John shows up on time and works very hard all day long and will build to code and not take any shortcuts with obvious quality and pride in his craftsmanship. You cannot go wrong with JLB Construction.

John's company, constructed a bathroom in a downstairs room, building a fake floor to accommodate the pipes. They were able to begin work sooner than expected. The framing went very quickly. They had to drill through a concrete wall for the outgoing pipe and for the incoming water. They did a veryimpressive job. They built a flower box to help disguise the pipe. They hand dug the trench to the septic tank, going under a sidewalk without damage. They installed a toilet, vanity, and tub. They tiled the floor and the wall of the tub/shower unit. They finished the job when they had expected to do so.Their work is very professional. I was very satisfied with the result. I would hire them again. I highly recommend JLB Construction.

JLB Construction just finished a two-story addition to our Table Rock Lake home and we are very pleased with their work. They have the experience to tackle the challenges of matching up to existing structures and utilities and had great foresight in melding our ideas into a great looking and functional home. The owner John, learned his trade in the highly competitive St. Louis area and after 25 years up there moved to Stone County to further pursue his love of the outdoors and fortunately for us, keep on building!JLB Construction just finished a two-story addition to our Table Rock Lake home and we are very pleased with their work. As a absentee owner, I was totally satisfied with my remodel project. The job bid was very detailed and the finished job met every detail. No hitches, no delays, no hassle for me living 200 miles away. I am glad that I selected JLB over three other bidders.
