FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a girl growing up loving and riding horses and seeing how I had this unspoken relationship with my horses .That was when I knew this was what I was going to do the rest of my life . I wanted people to see and feel what I felt with those horses.I have said if people learned how to talk and read each other like I do with my horses this world would be a better place .
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Starting young horses out to begin their relationship with rider and owner and restarting horses that have voids in their life from training or lack of that caused mental and emotional issues for them. Which formed a wall that does not allow them to have a good solid relationship with their rider . The other side of what I due is building off of the basic foundation of training and create a highly skilled horse and rider.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are looking research and read what info they put out and reviews.Ask for references but don't get caught up with well I have done this and that. I was told along time ago you do not have to tell what you have done or can do, they can see the finished product. So go see and watch them work other clients horses .Also take a tour of the facility that will tell you a lot by how it looks and the condition of the horse's staying their. See what their thought is about you being around when training your horse. If you do not get a good answer there is a problem.Talk with them about their approach in training and their theory of how a horse thinks and works if they can't explain a method that sounds logical then it's not right.
