- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I do have a standard pricing scheme although there isn't any "standard" problems when dealing with computers all cases vary and pricing may vary according to complexity. But, typically $140.00 will cover travel to site, diagnosis, and resolution. In the event hardware is required to complete the repair the cost of the supplies will be added to the bill with prior acknowledgment and a new quote for the client to sign and agree to before proceeding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get some background information about the problem(s) the client is having, what the clients expectations are for the completion/resolution of the project and what price range the customer has budget for completion of the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in this field back in high school. Several positions became available my Junior year to setup and configure PC's for the district over the summer break. I applied and interviewed and ultimately hired. Then my senior year I was able to design and maintain the website for the high school I attended and have been in the industry since.
