- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I watch weekly webinars to stay current and I also travel the Caribbean and Mexico extensively. I do testing every year for various destinations to stay certified as a Destination Specialist. I am a charter member of DWHSA, which stands for Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist Association.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for travel and warm tropical destinations! Before Your Travel Gal was founded I held a corporate management position where I mentored independent business owners and helped them grow their businesses. It was very rewarding but I was tired of working for others and the culture of big business. I needed a change and I searched my soul. I walked away from that big corporate position and got educated and opened Your Travel Gal!
