FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge an hourly rate. Though I am always willing to negotiate a flat rate, having an hourly rate encourages my clients to know what they want the final piece to look like and ensures they communicate thoroughly from the beginning. This helps keep the editing time short, cost down, and helps reduce revisions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a meeting where we communicate vision, ideas, and requirements. As well as communicate and decide the best way to go about the product review and note giving process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with a production house for 3 years being exposed to every element of the creative process. And more often than not engaging in every element as well. I can speak the graphics artist, the coders, and the camera man's language. I understand their programs and hardware enough to at the very least understand what I am looking at and communicate what is needed. I have worked on hundreds of videos. In video editing alone I have cut over three hundred individual pieces. I am a very business-oriented creator. I draw my creativeness from my client's vision. In turn, this trait lends itself to creating a professional piece of content that drastically reflects my client's vision.
