We are a husband & wife photography team with a creative, fun, and modern approach to photography. With our unique documentary photography style we strive to document stories from creative and personal perspectives.
My husband Derek is a Full time fire-fighter/paramedic and I am a part time paramedic when I'm not doing photography. We have 5 children and two giant dogs! We live very busy lives, but we wouldn’t want it any other way!
We both love to travel and decided for our wedding 4 years ago to start learning photography! Instead of spending the money on a photographer for our wedding we spent that money on a high quality camera which our friends and family used to take pics with. Since then we have been learning a lot about photography and editing! We spend several hours a week practicing and studying photography.
We have a beautiful loft studio but love doing outside sessions as well! Derek enjoys outside photography of architecture and wildlife. I enjoy doing portraits of kids, families, and couples but specialize in Boudoir photography.
We laugh, poke fun at one another, and just create a fun atmosphere for our clients. This makes our clients feel more at ease. Being photogenic is less about looks and more about being comfortable in front of the lens.
