This is a very tough and anxious time for me. I have never been in such a situation. BuI am confident Marshall is the right lawyer to handle this divorce. He has been very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. I feel like I have a great lawyer someone who's honest and straight forward.

Marshall is one of the best lawyers who I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is calm, cool, and collected which is just what my husband and I needed. He took care of our legal issue quickly and his price is more than reasonable. If we ever need legal help again, Marshall will be the first person we call. Thank you very much, I am so happy I reached out to your website for help in finding our lawyer.

Marshall was my lawyer in my divorce case. Throughout the case Marshall was available at all hours of the day and on weekends to answer my questions and concerns. He gave me his cell phone and responded quickly to all of my questions and concerns by text, telephone and email.
Marshall never took any action that wasn't strictly necessary for the advancement of my case. He had a commanding grasp of the legal and factual issues and developed clear, clever strategies to advance my interests at every turn. He was instrumental in advising me on issues such as the selection of a suitable guardian ad litem for my child and how to behave in the courtroom. He was thoroughly prepared each time we went to court. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone needing divorce counsel.

He handled some business legal issues that needed immediate attention. He was very responsive, very familiar with the court system, and well prepared to address our legal issues.

Marshall handled my divorce case beyond my expectations. I was very concerned about the outcome but all along he assured me that all would come out ok. The outcome was beyond ok for me! I would absolutely use his services again.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In all cases in Missouri, attorneys are required to bill by the hour and for expenses associated with litigation. So, the price varies based upon the number of hours invested and the expenses.
In personal injury and workers compensation cases, attorneys are required to keep track of their hours, but represent clients on a contingent fee basis. Under this arrangement, the attorney does not receive a fee unless they are successful.
Contingent fee arrangements are not allowed in family law cases.
Fixed price services are also not allowed. However, for very small matters, e.g., traffic tickets and minor criminal matters, an attorney usually charges one price because they know that the matter will take a modest, set amount of time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet on the telephone. We then meet in the office and complete a thorough intake form, complete mandatory documents and launch the client's case.
I deal with out of town clients by way of email, cellphone and text messaging. I attach forms that I need completed to emails and send them to the client to complete, sign, scan and return to me by email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have required continuing legal education.
I also learned that I really need to learn things over and over again. There is really too much law to have a complete mastery of it at all times. I know where to find answers, and I have maintained a curiosity and interest in what I doing. I was told a long time ago that legal research was fun. It is. Being thoroughly prepared with the facts and the law, allows me to do things in court for clients that I am very personally proud of.
