Amy is AMAZING! So patient and very easy to work with. She had my dogs sitting on command in the first session. I also appreciate Amy’s explanations to help me understand how to get the same responses she is training. Will definitely hire again in the future!Oct 9, 2018Verified
Patient with our pup and wants to see how dog is in his own environment. Wants to train for the family and what is needed for our specific home and dog.Mar 7, 2018Verified
Amy was so knowledgeable and did a great job training our dog and showing us how to continue the training on our own.Jun 13, 2017Verified
Amy was very helpful assisting in training our puppy. Will probably use again as needed, and would recommend to anyone needing dog training. Very flexible on schedule, added bonus.Nov 30, 2016Verified
Amy did a fantastic job with training our new puppy to be obedient and polite, and with training us on how to manage common puppy issues. She was extremely friendly, comfortable, and easy to work with, and she listened to exactly what we wanted to work on. She molded the training sessions to meet our goals, and to fit our puppy's personality. We were mainly working on teaching our dog manners and the basic commands (sit, stay, come, down, etc.), and Amy not only taught him how to obey the commands, but she gave us a number of tips on how to continue our training when she wasn't around. She also gave us her number so that we could call or text with any issues that may arise. We are very satisfied with our dog's behavior since the training, and are very happy that we decided to give Amy a call! The personalized, one-on-one training with Amy was exactly what we were looking for, and the cost was extremely reasonable considering what I've seen elsewhere. We will definitely be recommending Amy to any of our friends/family looking for training, and will be reaching out to Amy again if we run into any issues in the future!May 1, 2017Verified
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I just completed an online class and I also take seminars related to dog behavior and training online and in person when I am able.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started volunteering at a shelter walking dogs and saw how many dogs ended up there for behavior problems. Most of these problems are easily fixable with a little training such as jumping on people or not listening to commands.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Basic obedience skills and problem solving of issues such as jumping, barking, and not listening.
