- Tobi R.
We built a new custom house and yDesigns designed our floor plan for our kitchen and hearth room, master bedroom and bathroom. She picked out all of our colors. They were beautiful and Not ones I would have chosen. She has a way of bringing a new perspective to design and color that the average person would not think about. I will definitely use her again.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Hourly and project based. We discount our over 200 lines of product.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We meet at their home or office and walk through their space. We discuss what they like and what they would like to change and how Ydesigns fits into that change. We lay out a design plan which includes meetings, budgets, timeframes. Having the opportunity of being in the business for so many years, I can usually accomplish A LOT in just a few meetings that can make positive impacts on your space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I began my education process in design early on as I knew I wanted to be in art and design from an early age. Along with college education in Design and Architecture I attend several markets across the country on a annual basis, this the way you can keep your hand on the pulse of the design world and see products, a lot of which are not available directly to the public audience. I attend CEU qualified seminars. Sketch up and Auto cad program updates. Manufacturers such as Wolf, Sub zero, Lutron, provide ongoing training. Color Forecasting seminars keep your eyes fresh on current and upcoming color schemes that one will see in future textiles, paint colors etc. Designers MUST be constantly educating themselves on the products that they are specifying for their clients. Good design can be timeless and current at the same time.
