FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge by the hour. So projects where the subjects are well prepared are faster for us to film and cheaper for the customer. Unprepared subjects take longer to film and therefor longer to edit. Rather than guess a project cost and make efficient clients pay more to cover for the inefficient ones, we keep things fair and hourly. We're all in this together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to see a few examples of other photos or videos that they like, and it helps me build something that won't be an unpleasant surprise. After getting a shot list together, I prep with a few pointers and tips on what to wear and how to prepare, and then we schedule and shoot! Typically, I turn photos around in less than a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before working as a video producer with CNN in 2007-2008, I studied digital video as an undergraduate. For aerial video and photography, I am an FAA Certified Pilot and our drones are properly registered and insured.
