I will never try to upsell the customer something he/she doesn't need. I will show receipts for parts purchased, and will never charge extra for shop stock! Helping people! What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read constantly on the latest gadgets and programs on the horizon. I also recently finished an Associates Degree in Information Technology and was accepted into the National Technical Honor Society with a GPA of 3.71.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Dad used to fix radios and TV's in his space time. I used to watch and be amazed. I promised myself I would do that someday! That was over 40 years ago. I still get the same sense of wonder that I used to experience as a child. There are some amazing things going on!!!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Keyboard and mice 're replacement are high on the list. Power supplies and motherboards are next, as well as wiring and sound. After that it is pretty much a toss up.
