The folks at Indian Summer Pools have taken care or our pool and spa for several years. Doug Fender and his team built a new pool for us in 2008 and really thought though how to improve our situation. Customer related additions are a big hit, and service related improvements have validated that we made the right choice with Indian Summer Pool and Spa. Doug's hands-on style not only insures the pool is built right, but that he knows about every step in the design and construction of the final product. The pool structure and design was also the best of all the products I looked at. Want to see the lowest maintenance pool floor-come see Paradise Point in Hollister. No more repainting, chipping or sandblasting ever couple years. Doug's recommendations have saved us a ton of maintenance money. The auto-chemical feeding system should be a must for anyone with a commercial pool, or if they aren't able to properly care for a pool themselves. Again, with the knowledge of the right pool company, you'll save money in the long run.

Indian Summer Pool and Spa built an inground pool for us last summer. We are very pleased with the quality of materials, workmanship, and great attention to the asthetics of the pool. The Fender brothers hire courteous workers and are patient with our questions. We love our new beautiful backyard!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This project took a bit longer than anticipated but we had a number of weather related delays and then there was the additions to the project that added quite a bit of time as well.
These larger more complicated projects often take up to a year to complete. Others sometimes more than that. We finished up one project two years after we started but during the project, the owners bought custom fired tile from Italy. It took over 9 months to acquire the first batch then they had to add additional to it which took another 2.5 months to get in. That coupled with us installing the pool and spa's shell, then leaving while they built the remainder of the house and then coming back at the tail end to complete the remainder of the work. Those are trying jobs at best but we hang in there and complete them no matter what.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We receive a Call, Text or Email from a Potential Customer asking questions. We then discuss basic information and set up a Pool Consultation appointment to discuss their Backyard Project ideas. At that meeting we go over details of options available with the site details taken into consideration and then after the meeting we design an AutoCad rendition of what the Customer wants, bringing their ideas to life with our technical experience dictating tweaks to the design making it a reality. After we go over the design(s), we price out the design that best suits the customer and then after discussion, we seal the deal and get the customer on the schedule. When the schedule allows, and we’re ready to start their project, we get it underway to get that customer another Indian Summer Pool!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We go to trade shows where there's plenty of ongoing training available. We also are avid readers of trade publications both in print and online. We stay abreast of current technology so we can offer our customers the best most advanced products out in the marketplace.
