- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When making an investment in professional makeup application for a special event, you want to make sure you have the best canvas possible for ideal results. Here are a few tips on how to best prepare. 1. Be sure to drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep in the week before your appointment. Dry skin, dark circles and puffy eyes are all much worse when you are dehydrated and have poor sleep habits. Often it is the simplest things we overlook, but taking good care of yourself is always the first step to looking and feeling good. 2. Two days before your event, have your eyebrows groomed. Doing so a few days in advance will allow any redness or irritation to subside before the special day. Having well groomed eyebrows is key to having a clean, polished, eye catching result to your makeup. 3. Exfoliate your skin and lips the day before. This will remove dead surface cells, brighten the skin and allow the makeup to move smoothly across your skins surface. Don't forget your lips. Dry, flaking lips are never pretty. Follow up with light moisturizer and lip balm.
