FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a photobooth operator I don't often get the opportunity to meet my clients until the day of their event, but often they've met me! Over 50% of my bookings are with people who have met me and seen my photobooth in action at a wedding, a holiday party, or some other event. We do talk a lot on the phone though to make sure that there will be no last-minute surprises. My clients get to review, tweak and approve layouts, logos, and backgrounds ahead of time and customization is always an option for them. No cookie-cutter photobooth services here!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm good at detail work, nose-to-the-grindstone, behind-the-scene work that most people consider tedious, and my resume prior to 2012 was a reflection of that. In that year, I decided I wanted more interaction with people, something more exciting and downright fun. I found that job by starting my own photobooth company. Since then I've definitely expanded my horizons! I've seen event venues that I never dreamed existed and more smiles than I can count. The InVision motto is "Our Success is Measured in Smiles." I smile more than ever these days, even behind the camera!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My photobooth and Dance Heads Video Studio are popular at all kinds of events. About 40% of my clients are brides, grooms or wedding coordinators looking to impress their guests at a wedding reception. Another 30% of my clients are business owners looking to give their customers or employees a special treat at a picnic, holiday party, ribbon cutting or customer appreciation event. School event coordinators and mitzvah parents especially like the Dance Heads Video Studio because it's so unusual. Occasionally I get to work a family reunion or a church social. I love working with all of them!
