My wife and I realized we needed help with our front landscaping when our family and strangers kept commenting on how awful it looked. We liked to joke that it was a "hipster" thing, we were just returning our beds to their original prairie state. But, we realized we needed to get them fixed and they were so bad we just weren't up to the task of fixing them ourselves... I used thumbtack to find Tri-County Hardscapes. Filling out the form on the website I received 3 different requests for estimates. Of the 3, only TCH seemed capable and willing to do the job I had need of. After submitting a deposit to hold my place in their schedule, I was told it would be a month before they would work on my project. The day of my project I received a call and email saying they began work, and they finished promptly on the second day. The job looks amazing, and the team did an a fantastic job. I would use them again in the future if I had cause. I even signed up for an annual plan for them to re-mulch the beds for a very good rate.

I found Chris on Thumbtack and hired him to install a new retaining wall and replace an old one that was falling down. I couldn't be happier with the results! Professional, timely work. I would hire him again in an instant.
Details: I want to accomplish one or two larger projects in my current landscape (e.g. plant trees, install sprinkler system, pave walkway) • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • Retaining wall • Small (less than 1,000 sq ft) • No, this is a one-time project • Home

Working with Chris and Tri County Hardscape was a great experience from start to finish. I'd had an unsuccessful beginning to my landscaping hopes - it was hard to get anyone to call us back, let alone show up for appointments. By the time I reached out to Chris, I was exhausted. He was a breath of fresh air! He was responsive, easy to work with, and had great ideas for designing our front yard "face lift." He knew we wanted easy-to-care-for plants and knew just how to place them in the space. He and his crew were so polite and careful when working in our yard, even when they had a dog barking at them nonstop from the window. We could not be more pleased/impressed with the work they did. It looks amazing!
Details: I want to completely redo my current landscape (e.g. replace soil, existing plants, and hardscape services) • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • Retaining wall • Plant trees/shrubs • Small (less than 1,000 sq ft) • Front yard • No, this is a one-time project • Home

Chris was very flexible with meeting me initially to go over landscaping ideas. My house looks gorgeous now that I have a brand new wall that is decorated with flowers/plants. We have also just bought this house and we had bushes that were overgrown and dead. Chris pulled these right up without leaving any holes in the ground for water damage. I have numerous neighbors who have complimented their work. We also got our driveway and sidewalk done which is convenient. For a new homeowner that needs multiple things completed, Chris does more than just landscaping. Five stars for Chris and his company. He is very professional and friendly.
Details: Smaller changes in current landscape (e.g. plant flowers, trim shrubs) • No existing plans, but I have preferences • Retaining wall • Trim trees/shrubs • Remove trees/shrubs • Apply mulch • Small (less than 1,000 sq ft) • Front yard • This is a one-time project • Home

Chris installed our landscaping at our new house. We had no idea what we wanted, but Chris had great ideas and drew up a design that we really liked. None of the other contractors we talked with offered any real suggestions about what would look good.
Chris and his team did a great job on the installation as well. They finished the project in good time and everything has held up great over the last few months.
We would definitely recommend Chris.
