- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing system if very simple. I don't charge flat rate due to the fact there is a lot of calculations involved in it which could hike up the prices. I do the old school time and parts. I charge a diagnostic fee of $70 to diagnose the issue. From that point on I would let the customer know a estimated cost of repair.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend all dealer meetings to educated myself and my techs about what the latest and greater technology is out in the HVAC field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both my grandfather and father were in the trade so I just followed their footsteps
