DJ Dynamite is a native of Detroit, Michigan, where he started entertaining at house and basement parties. Wanting to see the world and take his DJ career to another level, he joined the military, which took his crunk style all over the world and ended up in the south at Biloxi, MS, where currently resides.
DJ Dynamite has DJd and opened for various rap, R&B, and comedic artists (e.g. Fantasia, Ying Yang Twins, Juvenile, Project Pat, Rickey Smiley, and TP Hearns). While his DJ career was blowing up, he took his show to the radio with his own mix show on 96.7 FM, WQFX, and Mix96.
DJ Dynamite has provided entertainment for various organizations and most of the premier clubs ever to hit the coast such as The New Terrace Lounge in Gulfport, MS. Through these partnerships, he has met and worked with some of the coast's other well-known DJs (e.g. Greg KP, DJ DE Dwayne, Ray Ray, Skip Chimp of WBLX, 92.9, DJ Chestange, Mix Maestro, and Tabari from WJZD, 94.5FM).
DJ Dynamite is also involved in community service. He serves as vice president of the Top Ten Social Club, which gives away educational scholarships annually. He volunteers at the local colleges, giving motivational speeches and providing information about technology-based careers.
DJ Dynamite's lifetime experiences in music include his ability to play bass guitar and keyboard. As a full-time event DJ, he understands that every occasion is unique and should be approached in that respect.
DJ Dynamite's most current national recognition is the winner of the best club DJ award at the Tri-state Image Awards in New Orleans, LA, on September 5, 2010. Through his performance at most of the major bike events from New Orleans, LA, to Myrtle Beach, SC, he has earned his title, The Official Bike DJ. He is featured in the February 2011 edition of Real Talk Urban Magazine. DJ Dynamite has created a network website for DJs and people looking for a DJ in their local area.
