- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Actually our billing system is simple . We present an invoice on Thursday each week with a itemized account of all material costs. Original recipts are included. Usually a account is opened by you at the local building supply, or a credit card from a special building account is used. You pay all material directly with no mark up. Although we supply you with a complete estimate and material list for you project, Penny and I are paid a pre discussed hourly wage for hours worked each week.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Today We mainly remodel kitchens, baths. I owned and operated Klassic Kitchens and Millworks in the mid 80's. In the summertime we also love to build decks, boat houses, & piers. Penny is a pro painter. I also build furniture. Tables, gun cases , mantels , headboards. Just about anything you want . I also have experience in building redwood gazebos , and greenhouses.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
John & Joyce H. We completely tore out their old small kitchen/walls. We custom built new cypress cabinets with many added features. This involved all tear out, new plumbing, electrical, lights, new granit countertops, Sheetrock, and floor work. New sink,& appliances, Also we built a custom matching wood back door, a floor to ceiling mantel, new cypress wainscot, and door trim. We installed a milled cypress wood ceiling in the kitchen and adjoining den. New fans and accent lighting. Mounted new 65" TV with hidden wires . Last but not least, John called and asked me to build a 10 gun custom gun cabinet. ( See photos of kitchen)
