Thanks to Justin and everyone at HomeTown Home Services, we now have a livable second floor! We had three doorways raised (it was formerly an attic), two regular doors installed, and a barn door installed for the bedroom. We also had a closet within the walk-in closet removed, and we had the entire upstairs painted. We are still (a few weeks later) amazed at how much more space we have, the quality of the work that was done, and the speed with which they completed the work (four days or so). We really have only good things to say about them, and we hope to have them back soon to do some more work on our downstairs. I should add that after what felt like a year of chasing various contractors to do this work, and either not getting our calls returned or dealing with foolishness like estimates written on a napkin and texted to us, working with HomeTown Home Services was a dream. Justin got back to my original message within a day or so, came out that week, and was ready to start the following week. He and in his crew were communicative throughout the process and adapted if we came up with other ideas. Justin also personally took a walk through on the final day to note areas that needed touching up. In short, hire these folks, and you will not be disappointed!

Joseph Legg of Hometown Home Services responded quickly to my request for drywall installation in my laundry room. After I was given a quote and accepted this service the work was started quickly. The workers were professional, respectful and friendly. Any questions I had were answered and explained to me in a way I understood. All in all, they gave me a schedule of the work to be done, and it was done timely and efficiently – my laundry room job was completed and painted! I would highly recommend Hometown Home Services. Great job!

They did a good job remodeling my house . Replaced roof ,Damaged siding, Painted inside/out, Redid concrete walkway leading up to front door. Updated all outdated outlets in my house. Replaced all the flooring in the house, closets included and much more. In about 2 weeks. I recommend their work.

I had a leak in my roof that needed repair. It was letting rain in around the chimney and we had so much rain last weekend that I needed it fixed promptly. Many of the companies I called were not available for days or even weeks. But home town home services sent people over the same day. I was able to talk about the problem over the phone With Justin and felt that he understood the situation. I got a quote for the lowest rate of the people I'd contacted so far and the guys came over the same day and fixed up everything and left my roof and yard looking like there had never been a problem. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

    Yes we do. most projects are bid by the linear or square foot, or painting by the room. But some custom projects require custom pricing.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started working for a general contractor at 16, and learned most of what I know from him. I also did hardwood floors for 3 years in the midst of that time.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    What do I want this to look like at the end? what is my budget? what is my timeline?
