FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer transparent, flat monthly rates based on your transaction volume—no surprise bills. Most small businesses pay $300-600/month for ongoing bookkeeping. If your books need catch-up work or initial setup, that's quoted separately as a one-time project (price depends on complexity). I provide a free consultation to assess your situation and give you exact pricing for both.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free 30-minute call where I review your current bookkeeping situation and business needs. If cleanup or setup is needed, I'll handle that first to get you on solid ground—this typically takes 2-4 weeks. Once organized, we move to a simple monthly routine: you'll get accurate financial statements by the 10th of each month, and I'm available via email or text whenever questions come up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Accounting degree from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and am a QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor (the highest certification level). I've worked as a senior accountant and technical accounting specialist for 20+ years, giving me expertise that goes beyond basic bookkeeping—I understand GAAP compliance, financial analysis, and what your CPA needs to see.
