Introduction: We are a full-service whole house company specializing in stone and tile installations. As owner, I started out in ceramic, porcelain and stone installations almost 15 years ago, and this continues to be our specialty. We do full remodel, if desired, but can do jobs as simple as small repairs. We have been in the remodel market since our conception, unlike others who dropped out of new construction and transitioned into remodel after 2008. Remodel takes a unique mindset and technical skills that most of the checkbook contractors don't have. Myself and my guys are the ones on the jobs, and not subcontracted out to the lowest guy to go in. We are the only one of two kitchen and bath remodel companies that do all of our work without subcontracting out in the Raleigh, Cary, Apex and Chapel Hill area. Most K and B companies work by having a group of contractors to send in to do the work once the job has been quoted. Who do you think pays that markup for them to push paper across the desk?
