- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is basic. Labor and plant material equals total price. When providing sketches with a list of plants my prices range from $150 to $300 depending on the size of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I almost always need to see the site. Obviously for sketches I need to measure the area and design a plan. I also need to look at sun requirements and the quality of the soil. If I'm also installing the design all those criteria stated above would apply. Sorry. I know people are anxious for a quote but I would feel totally irresponsible in attempting to do that without seeing the site first.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Master Gardener and I'm certified in landscape design and maintenance all from Rutgers University the State School of NJ. Yes, when the opportunity arises I do continue taking classes to keep myself current.
