Introduction: Looking for a piano teacher in Apex? Look no further than Apex's Jordan Academy for the Performing Arts! The Jordan Academy is currently accepting new students this semester. As the only community-based music school in Apex, the Jordan Academy offers private piano instruction for students of all ages, abilities and skill levels. Jordan Academy students are active as musicians in the local community and participate regularly in recital programs, community events, and piano festivals and contests at the local and state levels. The mission of the Jordan Academy is to serve the greater Apex community with a wide range of musical opportunities including private lessons, concerts for the community, community music classes, and opportunities to perform and share music with others. Students who develop their skills and talents as musicians are enriched in ways that will be relative to them throughout the course of life. Private lessons in piano are currently offered at the Jordan Academy. The Jordan Academy welcomes students of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels and seeks to encourage each student to develop his or her musical skills and talents to the very fullest potential. Students may register for 30-minute lessons or one-hour lessons and register for each academic semester. The one-on-one lessons format and individualized attention are key elements in a musician’s growth and development. Tuition is competitive, and some scholarship assistance is available to students and families with such a need. Our Academy Director and primary piano teacher, Christopher A. Reed, holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in music, has 10 years' experience as a professional music educator, and is an active performer in the community.
