- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are so UN-complicated, that some people do get confused about it! Our pricing is dead-simple - we charge flat-rate pricing based on the number of rooms in your home. So whether you have a 1 bedroom apartment in South Asheville or a 5 bedroom vacation home in Hendersonville, we have a flat-rate fee based on the number of bedrooms. Prices or jobs would only be affected if there is an obvious cleaning problem/situation that arises when our maids arrive, which is pretty much limited to very soiled/dirty houses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I own another business so my time is very valuable and precious to me. I don't have the time necessary to devote to a clean household, so I started using cleaning services. I found most maid services to be a hassle to deal with: in terms of having to get a quote (wait up to 2 weeks) then booking the cleaning (wait another 2 weeks), it was just too much of a hassle! I decided to build the company that I wanted to deal with, to offer a valuable service to other people in my situation. Fast and trustworthy, simple online booking, flat-rate pricing. I can go to the Maid in Asheville website, pick my own date and time, pay online and then go back to work in less than a minute. It's what I wish was around when I was hiring cleaning services, so I brought it to life!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We offer basic cleanings to a more "Deep Clean" (extra TLC) service along with "Move In/Move Out" services as well. We always provide 2 member cleaning teams and and we also offer additional services such as oven cleaning, fridge cleaning and even indoor window washing as well. We service Asheville NC and surrounding areas and we are always willing to accommodate our customers' wishes and requests as much as possible.
