FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for art and design work can fluctuate greatly as it is difficult to accurately predict the time involved in creating a unique piece of work. I am happy to quote a price once the expectations and budget have been made clear with the understanding that changes in the clients requests and unforeseen challenges may change the final price to a degree. I often settle on an hourly rate not to exceed a certain price so I may produce a piece which represents the clients wishes while guaranteeing I am properly compensated.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was drawing before I could form complete sentences. Art was a natural way for me to entertain and express myself from an early age. My innate skill dictated an obvious career path and forum of expertise.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Portraiture of people, homes, and pets, murals, t-shirts and posters are the most common requests; although I have successfully designed and built parade floats, designed campaign materials, executed themed events and wedding decor, interior staging, and ceramic plaques.
