- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in grad school at UNCC studying Academically and Intellectually gifted children. I am also a Discovery Education Network (DEN) Ambassador for Gaston County Schools and a DEN STAR Educator.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a Math tutor, you need to know whether you're looking for a "get me through this class" tutor, or a "please help me understand why" tutor. I am capable of providing both types of services, but if you are looking for the second type, you will be getting more bang for your buck. If you give me the opportunity to teach you how and why, to teach you the skills to tackle tasks on your own, you will be able to approach tests and future Math classes with confidence that you will succeed.
