I am also a Residential Contractor with an Unlimited License and I have a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. As novices in designing and building, it was surely great "karma" that we found Karu Architecture and Construction! The patience, the expertise, and the recommendations provided by the team were invaluable to us in designing and building on raw property on top of a magnificant ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Likewise, the professionalism and trustworthiness were superior....we felt like extended members of their families. After hearing so many stories about how "out of towners" were unhappy or "taken" by their designers and contractors, we feel we hit a "home run" with Karu. Completely recommend them with the highest regard. You will not be disappointed.

Peter helped us through a lengthy and complicated renovation of our house in Blowing Rock, NC. I don't think we could have survived this process without his wonderful assistance. His ideas and plans were outstanding, and he was always willing to meet with us to discuss matters. He was also a tremendous "sounding board" for other issues unrelated to his services.
