- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I always say a dog trainer never knows enough! I attend seminars and webinars as well as constantly read new information and theories! You can never learn too much in this field and since it is constantly changing it is dire that your trainer stay as up to date as possible!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved animals of all kinds and grew up riding and training horses. One day a horse show friend asked me to attend a dog show to help them show numerous dogs. The moment I took the lead I was hooked! From there my passion grew to include various sports, therapy dog work, and rehabilitation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer in home privates, Privates at our facility, group classes, Around the town classes, and drop in classes. Mos common is teaching basic commands and addressing problem behaviors. We also offer CGC, C.L.A.S.S., Star puppy, Therapy dog, Service dog, agility, rally, obedience, and search and rescue training.
