About this pro
I customize the lessons for each student. I don't come in with a set agenda but I talk with each person and decide what will work for them best, and I can adapt as time goes on to help them the best way possible. For editing projects, I am willing to do what it takes to help the customer show off their best efforts and work with them in their time and budget. I love helping people and teaching them something new! I am patient and yet I am excited about what I am teaching ~ I love French and English and want everyone to be able to speak these wonderful languages :) I love making written presentations stand out, error-free and easy to read. I have always loved reading and writing, and this is my way of helping those who do this important work.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I often give a multi-lesson discount, or a project discount for multiple hours. This way both of us feel good about committing time and energy to each other on an ongoing or project basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For tutoring, I usually talk to them by email or phone - we set up a date to meet informally for a 30 min free consultation, or sometimes for a first session within the next week or so. I find out what they need and customize a program specifically for them, in whatever time frame and sessions they need. I am flexible and willing to meet them wherever they need, and provide a good value for their money and time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Master's in Education with an emphasis in Reading, and a Bachelor's in English and French. I also have ESL training and a lot of experience teaching young people and adults everything from beginning sounds (pronunciation is my specialty) to idioms and more advanced English learning. I have also worked as a typesetter (way back when :P) and a copy editor for a magazine, as well as an editor for the school newspaper in college and yearbook when I was teaching high school.
