I hired Ashley at Abundant Marketing after finding her company on thumbtack to complete some changes to my current website at the time including menu changes, switching out products, and some other minor things such as adding an age verification plug in. I paid her February 7th, She originally told me she could make the changes within a few days, 2 weeks go by and she informs me she can’t make changes because of issues with the theme... She told me it would be best to start from scratch and assured me it wouldn’t take long at all. A month later, we’re a few weeks into March and the website is still incomplete and I’m reaching out frequently for updates but each time she’d push the date out further even though I had expressed the need for it to be completed by beginning of march. When she finally showed me the website and what she had completed so far, things were not done in the way I had requested and other things were not done at all, the communication throughout all of this was non existent. Overall the website looked like it was put together in a matter of days, definitely didn’t look like the product of someone who had over a month to build a website. I explained everything I wanted done and even included reference websites, however my vision was not captured in the slightest, clarifying questions were never asked, I expected communication if there was any need for additional direction in specific areas but again there was none. I’ve worked with web developers in the past and I am very familiar with the way things should go and was overall extremely disappointed with how the entire process went, including the fact that multiple emails communicating deadline, details, product images,etc were completely overlooked. When I addressed everything mentioned above and provided the opportunity to resolve the issues there was no accountability taken which was disappointing to say the least. I am now having to finish the work on my own and hire someone else. I don’t recommend hiring her or her company at all, Unfortunately she had the opportunity to correct these issues and didn’t care to do so, now here we are.
