FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our installation pricing is customized for every project and depends on two main factors: * The type of material being installed * The complexity of the project (layout, subfloor condition, stairs, accessibility, etc.) Our team installs a wide range of flooring types including Luxury Vinyl Planks, laminate, hardwood, carpet, and tile , as well as handles refinishing, removal, and subfloor preparation when needed. We also offer additional related services, such as furniture moving, appliance disconnection/reconnection, and other site-prep tasks to make your project as smooth as possible. Please note: Subfloor leveling and repairs are assessed on-site after removal of the old flooring, as these vary based on conditions discovered during the installation process. We dedicate time to each client individually and do not conduct group measurements, ensuring precision and full attention to your project details. At Metz Flooring, our goal is to deliver transparent, fair, and accurate pricing — every estimate reflects the true needs of your space and the quality craftsmanship we stand behind.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a quick phone call to understand your project goals, timing, and requirements. Next, Mr. Metz and his assistant, Briana, will visit your site to take measurements, review the layout, and discuss product options. If you’re still choosing materials, they can bring samples and help you select the best fit for your space. With all details gathered, they’ll prepare a personalized quote based on your project’s needs. Once terms are agreed upon, they’ll schedule your installation and coordinate all necessary steps. Mr. Metz personally reviews each project with our installation team lead to ensure every detail is properly planned and executed. After completion, Briana will provide you with care and maintenance tips straight from the manufacturers to help you protect your investment.
