Best Day Ever offers in-home pet and house-sitting services starting at $70 per day, providing a personalized, low-stress alternative to boarding and daycare facilities that often exceed $100 per day in the Charlotte metro area. Steve had watched my dog and cat for the last six years. We never worry about our pets while away and they are happy when we return. Leaves our home clean and has great communication. We love to have a safe sitter!

The first thing I must say about Steve is that he is always professional, always respectful. He goes out of his way to make you feel like the most important person on the planet. Steve has never said NO, if he can't watch my dog, he goes on a mission, to find someone else who can. He doesn't just find someone, he will sit in on the initial meet and greet, and discuss his experience with my dog. My dog, he can be difficult, but I've seen how Steve interacts with him. I know he can calm him down and handle his crazy. Lastly, Steve was one of the 1st people I met after moving to a new area. He's watched my chaotic dog many many times since 2020. I know he's a good person and comfortably consider him a friend. If you want to travel stress free, let Steve watch your pet and your home.

I had an emergency and needed my dog picked up from a boarding place that had no one there overnight. My dog, Sophie, and I had just met Steve once and he responded immediately. Sophie and Steve bonded so well that she wasn’t really ready to come home when I showed up!! Steve is a loving, caring, sweet and very experienced dog sitter/boarder (she stayed at his place). I would highly recommend him and he has multiple references outside of Thumbtack as he’s sat for many clients locally and through word of mouth.

Steve is wonderful with pets particularly with the dogs he cares for. He created a bond with my dog Bernadette that warms a heart to see how much she cares for Steve.
