FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin our consultation by discussing the concerns you have with your space. I then ask you a series of questions to gather additional information about your design style, functionality needs and preferences. Depending on your needs, we might figure out some paint color options right then and there or we could explore some space planning options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology located in New York. I also have a Bachelor's of Science in Communications and Business. Additionally, I continue to take classes in the field to stay current with the industry and I am part of ASID (American Society for Interior Designers).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At one time, I lived in a home that had a vey old kitchen with an oven that had to be lit with a match. I waited too long to light the oven and when I finally did, the entire house shook and I burned my lower arm. My husband and I immediately began a whole renovation on that kitchen and just like that I feel in love with interior design so much that I went back to school to get a degree in it.
