When my first child was born in 2012, my husband and I hired a newborn photographer. The pictures were amazing, but what amazed me even more was the patience, care, and beauty our photographer put into soothing our three-day-old so he would pose for her while she snapped her camera rapidly at his little face. I thought to myself: "I could do this." I'd taken some photography in college and I understood the basics. I was confident with babies and children and had always been a self-started that I could figure out the rest. In 2013, I launched my part time photography business in Charlotte, NC. While my time to photograph is somewhat limited (now being a stay-at-home mom with three young boys), my passion for the art is not. I love helping families capture memories, snapping that perfect headshot for business professionals, and I find product photography thrilling by making the simplest items look glorious.
