- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The rate of your session is based chiefly on: A. How long your session is B. How many total photos you want delivered in your gallery When you invest in a photo session, you aren't just booking the time we spend together with my camera. There's a lot of "behind-the-scenes" work that happens to make sure your photos turn out flawlessly. Your session fee includes: - Prep and Scouting: Scouting locations beforehand (if available), planning the lighting, posing, and prepping gear. - The Session: My technical expertise and experience on-site, directing and shooting to make sure you look natural and confident. - Post Production: Separating the best from the rest (photo culling), and spending hours individually editing and color-correcting each image manually. -Delivery: Uploading and hosting your high-resolution images in a private and easy-to-use gallery for seamless downloading.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you book a session with me, we start with a short questionnaire. I like to get to know who you are before we start shooting. It helps me create photos that reflect your personality rather than just snapping some pics. Once we confirm a date and location, I’ll send over a standard contract covering rescheduling, cancellations, payment, and other details. From there we wait for shoot day! After the session, your final images are delivered via a private gallery within 2 to 4 weeks depending on your session length.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been passionate about photography for over 20 years, capturing moments and refining my skills along the way. Over the past two years, I’ve been seriously dedicating myself to mastering the craft, focusing on both technical expertise and creative expression. In 2022, I gained professional experience working with CADY, a well-respected photography company based in Charlotte, where I honed my skills working with people and learning to pose them.
