Thumbtack has you choose only 3 out of 5 positive adjectives to describe your experience with a professional; however, Emily's "responsiveness" & "punctuality" are EASILY equally efficient as the other 3 (work quality, professionalism, value). I had ran into some trouble with the last digital/writing media specialist working for my business beforehand, & I've only been working with Emily no more than a month & she has already surpassed any expectations I had been looking for once I finally decided to part paths with the previous agency I had hired. If you are anything like me as a business owner, you value hard work, integrity, & overall good people working for you as opposed to strictly sales techniques. While Emily can do that (marketing strategies that is) & then some, what makes her stand out to me & why I am so grateful to both have found her as well as continue working with her, is who she is as a person. I hired Emily to create a resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile for me. I was at that time, at the same Accounting job for nearly 20 years and was trying to build a resume on my own. I had submitted my own version for a couple of new positions with no luck so decided to have a pro build it. My pricing is fairly reasonable for my experience and creative eye.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to get to know my client first before getting started. I want to understand who they are as a person, instead of just doing the work. Building that relationship will go a long way in the end.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my MBA in Marketing and BS in Marketing. I am also a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®) and a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) through the American Marketing Association and Digital Marketing Institute. I also serve on the board with the American Marketing Association as their Director of Career Development.
