Introduction: About I teach private sewing lessons to adults and children. I also work with designers to create their designs from sketches. I design many items as well. I am now embroidering clothing, caps, children and baby cloths. I also make one of a kind teddy bears as well as other stuffed animals. I enjoy creating costumes and have recently created Star Trek and Game of Thrones costumes as well as other fun stuff. I love to see creativity come to life. I have been sewing most of my life and could not see myself doing anything else. I take pride in my work and I love to learn new skills as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background is Upholstery and interior design. My father and I had an upholstery shop many years ago in Washington DC. I what always take leftover upholstery fabric and make some type of clothing, along with pillows and patchwork bedspreads. In my teens is when I started making my own clothing, things just fit better that way and I had style idea's in my head that I could not find in stores.
