- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for tax preparation depends on what all needs to be filed and other information such as filing status, number of dependents, self employment, number of state returns needed to be filed, stocks and bonds, etc... Every tax return is different. A brief conversation about your tax filing needs could result in an estimate on tax preparation. For bookkeeping services, there are 3 different subscription packages that include different options based on your needs. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we meet with new clients virtually or at a neutral location (Starbucks) to meet and introduce ourselves. For tax preparation and/or bookkeeping service, I try to gather us much information as possible to get to know the tax situation and/or business.
