- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a trade professional there are a few key points that should come up and verified. The first is, is this company licensed properly for the applicable trade. This information can be found online from the appropriate board of licensing. In the electrical field the link is ncbeec.com. Without the proper licensing a small job could turn into a major headache and could lead to insurance not covering the work if there is a problem because an unlicensed contractor did the work. Be weary of the handy man-good for small projects that dont require licensed trades. Also look for reviews and warranty info, remember if the warranty info is not on paper it does not exist.
