Introduction: My approach is what God's plan is for us all along but few believers in our modern church environment are living out. Based on the concepts of our identity in Christ and the defeating the tactics of the enemy of our soul I show clients how to be "Overcomers" in all areas of their lives. Jan worked with me for a solid 6 months, meeting several times a week. We continue to meet up at least once a month. She is gifted in many ares and for me I needed help sorting out my past and finding my true self as God sees me. Being able to release and become free has been undeniably the best gift! God works thru Jan in such a way that I felt loved and cared for, no shame no guilt just true understanding and Godly advise. Jan really helps you work through your pasts hurts and help guide you to the healing God planned for us. She is so gifted with her gentle approach and sees things we may miss. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am finishing my master's degree in Clinical Christian Counseling. I am focusing in the areas of neuro-science and how it reflects God's design. I love to learn how the mind, body and spirit affect each other and I implement strategies from Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Caroline Leaf.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
God totally equipped me and led me through steps, experiences, ministries, trials, acquaintances before I even realized what he was doing. The bible says that man makes his plans but God orders his steps.That's often how we know it is God bringing us to a certain place in life and not our own doing. We can trust that more than our own perceptions.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I coach them in the areas of spiritual formation, career goals and direction, relationship issues, emotional struggles.
