- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
North Carolina currently requires 12 hours of continuing education. This allows me to connect with other inspectors and learn problem issues they have discovered with some of the modern building techniques. This allows me to add to my knowledge base as an inspector.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I encourage my clients to join me in the home inspection if their circumstances permit. This can be a fun and interesting experience for the prospective buyer. They have a chance to look past the fresh coat of paint and new fixtures and look at the home through the eyes of a professional. And if they are feeling particularly adventurous, entering the crawlspace will give them an opportunity to see their home from a very unique perspective.
