- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please contact us for specific pricing details. The prices are listed on our website, but we offer many discounts. For example, if you are going on vacation for an extended period of time, we offer a discount to make cost of being gone for so long not so unbearable!! We offer military, law enforcement, and frequent customer discounts as well. If our prices seem unreasonable for your specific situation, please contact us and we will be glad to offer a custom pricing plan that may fit your needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
James Owens is the owner of Andromeda Pet Services. He has been in emergency services for 15 years, working in all departments including fire, law enforcement, rescue, and radio communications. He has extensive special driver training. James has held a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician certification, and is also a Dog First Aid/CPR Instructor with the American Red Cross, as well as being an Instructor for several human phases of training. He lives with his four dogs and horse in Lincoln County, NC. Katy has been an avid animal lover her whole life. She has a natural ability to handle all types of pets. Katy is attending college pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently a veterinary assistant, and has 8 years of experience in pet sitting, kennel work, and clinic work. Katy lives in Charlotte, NC and owns four dogs and two cats, all of which are rescues. Allison Medlin comes to us with 4.5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, groomer, kennel supervisor, and pet sitter. She has also held a North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician certification and is a veteran of the U.S Army. She has experience with a wide variety of animals and animal emergencies. Allison is married with four kids, one dog, a guinea pig, and 3 birds. Dustin comes to us from the emergency medical field. He is certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and served in this capacity for over six years. He is also a highly trained driver specializing in emergency vehicle operations and has completed courses such as EVOC and BLET Driver Training. He has been a pet lover all of his life but he especially loves dogs. He has rescued several animals throughout his life and will never hesitate to take in a stray. He lives with his three dogs in Cleveland County.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We handle every sort of animal job, from dogs that have been involved in car accidents, to routine daily dog walks. We handle basic grooming as well. We also take care of horses and other large animals!! We perform dog walking, and can refer clients to trainers for more problematic dog training problems.
