FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I send a quote, that means I am available for your ceremony date. Thumbtack charges me for replying to any questions, so please contact me if you are serious in hiring me. My pricing is based on not only the time spent to make sure your vows are precisely what you want, but also travel time and gas costs. I try to customize my pricing when I send a quote, based on the information you have given in the details! If the details or specifics change, then the pricing could change also.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I am contacted, I immediately set up a meeting of the bride and groom so I can get to know them, to provide sample ceremonies, and to let them know that their day is as important to me, as it is to them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I became an officiant by request, I have been a lay speaker in the Methodist church, I have given multiple congregational messages, and I am a learning specialist who trains others in giving excellent customer service. All of these things have prepared me for performing beautiful ceremonies.
