- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I believe it is always necessary to continue to perfect anything you pursue in life! There are endless ways to keep up with the latest developments, especially in photography! I continuously enjoy various workshops and classes to broaden my skills and make sure to go above and beyond so each picture is a demonstration of my absolute best!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I 100% believe that my calling in life has always been {and will always be} photography or some form of it! I am so humbled to say that God has truly blessed me with an eye for seeing things in a different way. I feel like it is my mission to highlight all of the beauty that surrounds us in our everyday lives! Whether it is the season that your family is in at this period of time, a wedding, a birth or life changing event, or a specific calling that YOU are passionate about. Everyone has moments that, I believe, were designed to be highlighted, celebrated and always remembered. After being "in" photography for quite some time, in 2013 it was obvious that God was calling me into a profession of photography, and He aligned everything perfectly in order to make that happen. Honored, humbled, blessed and EXCITED are just a few words I can try to use to describe the indescribable.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I tell anyone looking to hire a photographer to first of all make sure that you love the photographer's specific artistic style, and then just see who you feel comfortable with. If they are someone that you could easily see as a friend, then you will feel at ease during your session and be able to freely discuss exactly what you are looking for in capturing YOUR beautiful life!
