Introduction: This Duke University Magna Cum Laude graduate has years of experience with descriptive and academic writing and editing, as well as translating various types of media from French to English and vice versa. I have an excellent command of the English language and all of its nuances, giving me a profound ability to edit different types of others' writing and perfect its spelling, punctuation, grammar, and content fluidity. I have written numerous pieces both creatively and based in academic or journalistic research and I particularly enjoy writing about causes in which I am greatly invested, such as human rights. After studying French for over ten years, studying in Paris for a six months, and conducting my research and personal interviews for my thesis in French, I have developed a unique understanding of the intricacies of the French language. I am able to use these skills to write in French and translate to/from English in ways that make the writing flow in the target language without losing any of the meaning or style from the original language.
