She is exceptionally experienced in strength training techniques and creates challenging, fun workouts. Her communication skills are excellent and she is also punctual and organized. One of things I like most is Hallee’s interaction style. She offers a great blend of direct verbal instruction, clear explanations about what muscles we’re targeting with each movement, and physical demonstrations so I can see what to do / not do. This is all peppered with her wry humor, caring check-in’s, encouraging challenges, and supportive redirection. Hallee is also easy to talk to. Sometimes, I can’t figure out how to correctly do what I hear and see her demonstrating and Hallee is always incredibly patient and creative with new directions and ideas. I really appreciate her willingness to stop me and correct or adjust my form to target a particular muscle or prevent injury. She is really dedicated to teaching me correct form so I build up my muscles and skills safely and progressively. Hallee also pushes me to challenge myself in ways I honestly wouldn’t do all by myself. I leave most of our sessions feeling sore, but powerful and pleased. About a year into our progress, I had unexpected leg surgeries and then a severe back and hip injury. Hallee stayed in contact with me during my recovery and as soon as I was allowed to come back, she modified all my workouts with guidance from my Dr’s and PT so I could rebuild my strength and balance. My PT has been thrilled with my progress and attributes most of it to my continued work with Hallee and the modified strength moves she has come up with to supplement my PT. I know I wouldn’t be doing as well with this recovery if it weren’t for the muscles and good form I’d already built with Hallee and our work together since the surgery. If you are serious about changing your body, learning about effective strength training, and becoming more physically capable in general, train with Hallee.
