FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Leo’s Wood Floors, most jobs are priced by the square foot. For very small areas, we have a minimum charge so we can fairly cover travel, set‑up, and clean‑up. Your price will depend on the size of the job, the condition of your floors, and whether you need stain, repairs, or stairs done. We are always happy to walk you through the estimate so you understand exactly what you’re paying for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We keep the process simple and clear. First, you tell us about your project and share photos or schedule a visit. Next, we look at your floors, answer your questions, and provide an estimate. If you decide to move forward, we agree on dates, explain how long the job should take, and talk about things like furniture and pets. During the job, we keep you updated and do our best to keep your home as clean as we can. At the end, we walk the space with you to make sure you’re happy with the results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our experience comes from years of hands‑on work with real hardwood floors. We have spent many hours sanding, staining, and finishing floors under the guidance of experienced professionals. Over time, we’ve learned how different woods, stains, and finishes behave, and we stay up to date on products and tools so we can care for your floors safely and correctly.
